Baptism
To follow in believers baptism shows everyone that is present that you have experienced an inward change called salvation. Baptism does not save a person, it is merely your first act of obedience as a Christian. We are saved by grace through faith. Those in these pictures are just a few of the souls that have made a profession of faith at Bible Baptist Church.

Soul Winning
Our church follows the Bibles teaching about soul winning. In Proverbs 11:30 the Bible says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." In the New Testament, the Bible teaches us that we are to obey the Great Commission. That means that we are to go tell the GOOD NEWS of the saving power of Jesus Christ. Although most churches only use one style of evangelism to reach a congregation in a church service, we are commanded to also reach out individually. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Luke 10:1-2 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. After you accept Jesus as your Saviour, His Spirit places a desire within you to want to tell the GOOD NEWS to those that are around you. We offer special church wide soul winning every Saturday at 10am. Our youth department also goes out on different days to tell the GOOD NEWS. Although we go out collectively soul winning on Saturdays, we are to try to be a soul winner everyday. |
